Hampton Green Gospel Chapel
Founded August 1965
Hampton Green Gospel Chapel (HGGC) was officially commissioned in August 1965 when the first Breaking of Bread Service was held including brethren from the Kingston, Old Harbour and Linstead meetings. This initial meeting included approximately twenty-four original believers of which five (5) remain today. Most of the original membership has either migrated to a foreign country, relocated elsewhere within Jamaica or .gone home to be with the Lord.

Pioneers
Early pioneers were Hopeton Bryan, George DaCosta, Joslyn Keane, Aubrey Wilson who all played a vital role in the establishing of the assembly. These brothers had a passion for establishing a Christian Brethren witness in Spanish Town and worked assiduously towards this end.
HGGC was in effect born out of meetings held at a lodge hall in Spanish Town by the brethren. Sacrificial giving by this membership coupled with the efforts of early pioneers provided the base for securing land space and building the hall.
Stalwarts
Special tribute is directed to the following original members who still attend the assembly after forty years of operation
The first elders appointed for the assembly were Hopeton Bryan, Horace Campbell, Calvin Gabbidon and Leroy Reynolds with a total changing of the guards in the current leadership of the assembly.
